Library
The IIM Raipur Library is committed to providing access to its resources for research scholars and faculty. It has a collection of books in addition to journals and newspapers, databases, working papers, thesis, project reports, CDs and videos.
The strength of the library is its digital collection that can be accessed campus-wide through its website http://www[at]iimraipur[dot]dotac.in[dot]. The website links its in-house catalogue in addition to the databases that provide scholarly, company and industry information.
E-Resources
The library subscribes to a number of important databases that are accessible on the campus network.
Company/Industry/Country Databases like Business Insights, Capitaline, CMIE – Alpha, Business Beacon, CapEX, IAS and Prowess.
Once Phase II courses are successfully completed, the research scholar undertakes an area comprehensive examination. This examination is administered at the beginning of the third year and tests whether the research scholar has obtained a satisfactory level of knowledge in her/his area of specialization. Comprehensive examination requirements are specified by the respective areas.
E-journals from ABI/Inform Complete, ACM digital library, EBSCO academic search Premier, EBSCO business source Complete, Elsevier – business Management and accounting, decision science economics, econometrics finance and Computer Science, Emerald Management Xtra, IEEE Electronic Library, Informs, Oxford University Press etc.
Back-Files of E-Journals like the journals from Elsevier (business management and accounting, decision science economics, econometrics and finance) and Emerald Management Xtra.
Accommodation
IIM Raipur will provide bachelors accommodation for doctoral research scholars. The campus also has an ATM, photocopying facility, a late night cafeteria, and several recreational facilities.
