He asked the students of IIM Raipur to take risks, extend and
test their capabilities and follow the ethical paths throughout
their corporate career. “Hard work has no substitute”, as such
one should stick to their values and follow their conscience
when making a decision, is what he believes in, which was
expressed to the students using examples from his personal life
. He also emphasized that an eagerness to learn, doing most
challenging task and growing beyond one’s comfort zone are
important ingredients in one’s professional development. He also
appealed to the youngsters to understand and fulfill the
responsibility towards the society and nation. Last but not the
least; he mentioned that the right attitude of an individual,
effective interpersonal skills are major areas that decide the
corporate trajectory of any individual. He ended his speech by
saying, “You do not know how high you can fly, till you open
your wings”. |
