“Discipline yourself for higher productivity” Swami Vyompada Das from ISKON
 

 

The evening of the third day of the Orientation Program for the 1st Batch of Fellow Program in Management (FPM) and 3rd Batch of Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), started at IIM Raipur Campus was characterised by an interesting and thought provoking session by Swami Vyompada Das from ISKON interacted with students and shared his ideas about discipline oneself to reach for higher productivity. He stressed that the actual happiness lay in working towards the growth of society. He stressed on the point that the youth and educated mass should understand and give their contribution for the development of India. He illustrated this by using examples from his life and the starting AkshayPatra, which provided food for the hungry. He also illustrated how technology helped in preparing food in a fully automatic and hygienic way in their kitchen. He stressed on the changes in society and its mindset which could be brought only through awareness and education. He even encouraged all the students to contribute in whatever way they can for the welfare of the society and thus inculcating in them the importance of a social responsibility.
