Mr.Vinod Behari, Executive Director, HR, Rural Electrification
Corporation Ltd., while addressing the students at IIM Raipur at
the Orientation Program for the 1st Batch of Fellow Program in
Management (FPM) and 3rd Batch of Post Graduate Programme in
Management (PGP) emphasized on meeting the industry expectations
by business schools, to meet the continuousand ever changing
demands of today’s business.

Mr.Behari urged the students to be high on professionalism, have
state of art knowledge and effective skill set, to develop the
ability to handle complex business situationsmade even more
complicated with the global changes and challenges and have the
right attitude to learn, unlearn and relearn. He also emphasised
on the need to recognise and sharpen one’s core competency and
skill for they would lead to the formation of unique identity of
a person.
That willingness and skills in dealing with others as well as
working as a team were essential soft skills that students
should develop was stated by him. These he believed was the
foundation of a successful career.
