The students were deeply motivated by the inspiring speech made
by Shri Sunil Kumar, Chief Secretary, Government of
Chhattisgarh. He was the chief guest for the Orientation program
for the 1st Batch of Fellow Program in Management (FPM) and 3rd
Batch of Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), which
started on June 28th at IIM Raipur Campus.

Shri Sunil Kumar,encouraged the students to think beyond
themselves, to develop concern for their community and society.
He exhorted that national level institutes of education have an
additional responsibility of correcting regional and social
imbalances by “serving the underserved”, other than enhancing
the quality and access to education. In his inspiring address he
gave a snapshot of the institute and its corefounding
principles.
