About Faculty

R.K. Jana is an Assistant Professor of Operations & Quantitative Methods Area at Indian Institute of Management Raipur, India. He has obtained his PhD from IIT Kharagpur, India. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Systems Engineering & Operations Research Department of George Mason University, USA and at the Industrial & Systems Engineering Department of National University of Singapore. Dr. is a recipient of DST Young Scientist Research Project. He has so far won four best paper awards from international conferences held in India and USA. Dr. Jana is a senior member of Operational Research Society of India, a member of Decision Sciences Institute, USA, and Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. His research interest includes Optimization, AI Techniques, Machine Learning Algorithms and Time Series. His research has appeared in International Journal of Production Economics, Applied Soft Computing, Annals of Operations Research, Annals of Tourism Research, Economics Letters, Physica A, etc.
