IIM Raipur’s EFPM aims to admit individuals with exceptional academic background, strong motivation to do research. Since this program is exclusively for the professionals with industrial experience, it is expected that research scholars will work towards developing a methodology, understanding and providing solutions for real life management problems, apart from developing a theoretical framework. Applicants are evaluated on their past academic achievements, motivation and preparation for the programme, letters of recommendation, scores on standard tests, and a personal interview with the faculty.
The candidates applying for IIM Raipur’s EFPM programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section of 3 of UGC Act 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an Institution approved by AICTE.
A Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 60 percent aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average
A PGP/EPGP/PGPWE from IIMs with minimum grade point equivalent to 6.0 out of 10 point scale (with no ‘F’s and not more than two ‘D’s in the first year of PGP)
A Professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60 percent aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average
A Five year/four year Integrated Master’s degree programme in any discipline, with at least 60 percent aggregate marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent
A Four Years / Eight Semester bachelor’s degree (B.E./B. Tech./Bsc Engineering) with at least 60 percent aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average.
*The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution. In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ institution. If any University/institution confirms that there is no scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA, and multiplying the result with 100.
Work experience: Minimum 7 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience as on June 1st, 2018 after graduation. The programme is open to all nationalities.
